Though it took a long time for this discovery to become what we know today. This is how we understand it even until this day. Heliocentric-ism is the idea that the Earth and the other planets orbit around the sun. He is most famous for his discovery of Heliocentric-ism and pushed for people to understand. ![]() He was not married, had no children, and was devoted to science. Nicolaus Copernicus was born in 1473 and died of a stroke at the age of 70 years old in 1543. This is why I think Sir Isaac Newton should be inducted into the Hall of Fame. He overcame many challenges in life and yet succeeded very well. He was Master of the Mint and a very powerful man. He was knighted by the Queen of England in 1705. ![]() He published at least 5 books within 49 years. The more criticize he got the more he pushed and pressed for people to understand. He felt the pain of his mother passing but continued with his work. Isaac Newton changed the world's views for the better. He managed to outwit his enemies, for the most part, yes he did have to mental break downs but nobody's perfect. He managed not to get the plague when it was spreading through like a wild fire for 2 years. Sir Isaac Newton went to school at the age 12, then by the time it was time for him to go to college He graduated, no honors but because of his second studies during college, he then again went to college. He showed them, he lived to be 84 years old. He was a newborn and everyone thought he couldn't make it. I chose Sir Isaac Newton to win this inductee nomination because of the struggles he lived through. Now before I announce the winner, I'd just like to say that each contestant, Galileo, Isaac, and Nicolaus were all very interesting men, whom made significant changes to the world we live in today.
